No I’m not attracted to you. Quit your evil putting your finger under my chin to make me look up at you. I know I’m your nemesis and all but we really need to set some boundaries when you’ve got me tied up like this.

When I tell that I LOVE solarpunk
Oh, I remember this, the edit was done by youtuber Waffle to the left.
They didn’t just cut out the parts with the oat milk, they skillfully edited over all the god-damn branding and replaced the audio.
But what I still find most hilarious about this whole commercial is the fact that everything they show in this solar punk world seems to be made with sustainable, zero waste and reusable materials.
Everything EXCEPT THE FUCKING CHOBANI BRANDED STUFF!
The only plastic you see in this whole commercial is all the straight to the landfill packaging made by the very corporation that tries to sell how sustainable and “green” they are.
Unintentional self satire at its finest. They couldn’t even show their yogurt and milk in (basically infinitely reusable) glass containers because they pretty much only sell their shit in plastic
It is such a perfect example of the true face of “green” capitalism, it’s hilarious.
The punk in this solarpunk comes from cutting the corporation out of the picture
ALSO
Another really interesting thing about this edit is that they changed the label on the side of the apple-picking machine.
From “donations” to “commons”. It’s a subtle change, but it makes a huge difference in the world-building of the video. The former implies that this big orchard belongs to an owner and that they’re donating the fruits to “the less fortunate” (and, by extension, that poverty is still a thing); the latter implies that the orchard belongs to everyone and that the fruits are free to take in the spirit of solidarity.
Waffle To The Left brought out the potential in this gorgeous video and made it an actual solarpunk utopia — without brands and without corporate pandering, complete with true common ownership over land and resources.

I’m getting the last of the Palestinian culture books I have scanned tomorrow and I don’t feel comfortable sharing these publicly anymore due to how they were taken. I will share these based on request for Palestinians but not online - Palestinian culture is not your playground. You don’t look at a people going through a genocide right now, see how I shared these sources specifically for Palestinians who didn’t have the access, and say “I can’t wait to use these for my ocs!!” have some fucking shame. I’m legitimately so angry
I don’t know how you read “hey Palestinians on tumblr here’s some books for you!” And go “wow is this for me?? To use for my dnd campaign??”. Are Palestinians only content for you? Are you incapable of looking at Palestinian culture without thinking of ways *you* can use it for yourself?

I am so fucking scared. I feel that… you know it’s not about death. I’m not so scared of death. I’m so scared of being displaced. I want to go back to my home–and I’m so near, by the way… Gaza is so small. But I can’t go there because the Gaza Strip is cut into pieces, and vehicles and tanks are in the borders between these pieces so I just can’t go anywhere inside my homeland. My place. And… it’s unacceptable. It’s unimaginable. You know I have never imagined before that one day someone would just grab me from my… my homeland. My place. And just throw me away and prevent me to come back.
By the way, we don’t know if we could go back. If we could go back again. Ever. And I’m so scared that they could displace us from Gaza Strip to the desert. [Bisan’s voice breaks, she breaks into tears] We will die in the desert because of hunger. They displaced us to Egypt. To the north of Egypt, to Sanari desert. People just die. We will die.
[Sob] I don’t know why do you guys are watching without doing anything to end this. Just in the… just stop it. Just stop it. Stop it in any price, stop it in any cost. Just stop it for anything. Just stop this. It’s a nightmare. I can’t continue just thinking about the displacement more and more. It’s a nightmare. And I can’t– I can’t keep it alive while thinking of being displaced more and more.
I just wanna go back to my home.

If you were complaining about wanting to watch the Super Bowl on the same day that Palestinians died from airstrikes, you are guilty. If you have the financial means to help and you didn’t, you are guilty. If you have a platform and you didn’t use it to spread the word on the horrific things going on in Palestine, you are guilty. You are guilty you are guilty you are guilty. Living a completely normal life while thousands of people die in front of you should be garish, it should be insidious, it should make you feel disgusting. Yet here you are complaining about watching the Super Bowl. You think Palestine is an inconvenience to your day. I’m disgusted to my core. I want nothing to do with you. You are guilty and you are complicit.
For those of us who still have humanity left to spare, please donate to the PCRF. Buy esims. Any last penny you could spare could make a huge difference. These people are literally enduring mass starvation and displacement in live time. This is not okay. Please try to do what you can. Spread this to anyone who has the means to do even more.
This is the “let’s be kind!” “kindness is so attractive!!” “let’s care about each other!” site until people get genocided, but the genocide itself doesn’t directly affect you lmfao. every fiber of my being is repulsed. no one will forget that you were quiet.

“It’s necessary for Palestinians to die because otherwise Israelis would never be able to exterminate Hamas!” “Iraqi citizens had to die because the US had to retaliate for the Iran-backed drone attack!” When will you learn that Arab people are not just collateral fucking damage. When will you learn they are not a means to an end. When will you stop dehumanizing Arab people in your endless attempts to justify the mindless slaughter that has been taking place for years, but which has intensified beyond belief the last four months. Why do you need to be told to treat Arab people like they’re human. Why do you need to be told this. Why do you need to be told.
Palestinian landmarks have been completely demolished in the name of exterminating Hamas. Thousands upon thousands of Palestinians have been killed in ways so brutal that some on-site journalists have admitted that they couldn’t bring themselves to press down on the camera. Children and women are living in famine, in sickness, in agony every day. How could you look at all that and use the same tired excuse of “Well we have to take care of Hamas!!” like why are you so anti-Arab racist that it causes you to be out of touch with your own humanity? How do you have it in your heart to see innocent citizens murdered as nothing but collateral damage? How would you react if it were your family that was genocided? How would you react if it were you?
